Vance E. Ricks

  Vance E. Ricks, 65, of Plainview, died Monday, Sept. 7, at 8
p.m., at Fraser Hospital North, following an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 4 p.m. The Rev. Ernest Lilley
officiated. Interment was at the Florien Cemetery.

  Mr. Ricks is survived by his widow, Lauretta Ricks of Plainview;
four daughters, Patricia Bryant of Bellville, Tex., Marilyn Davis
of Mesquite, Tex., Linda Walters of Galena Park, Tex., and Carol
Cole of Houston, Tex.; a son, Don Ricks of Spartanburg, S. C.;
and twelve grandchildren.
