The Rev. William Campbell officiated. Burial with Masonic graveside rites, was at Sardis Cemetery near Converse. Mr. Rascoe died at 6:09 a.m., Monday, Dec. 5, 1983, at St. Marys Hospital in Port Arthur, Tex. He was a native of Converse, La., and had resided in Port Neches since 1951. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Rascoe of Port Neches; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Head of Bridge City, Texas, and Mrs. Ettie Haynes of Groves, Texas; one son, Larry Rascoe of Houston, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Dora Rascoe of Bridge City; three sisters, Mrs. Juanita Ducote, and Mrs. Faye Streetman of Bridge City, and Mrs. Louise Cates of Groves; two brothers, James Rascoe of Conroe, Tex., and Guy Rascoe of Bridge City; four grandchildren.
