Mrs. Kate W. Rascoe

  Services for Mrs. Kate W. Rascoe, 75, of Converse, were held at
2 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, at the Union Springs Baptist Church
near Converse. The Rev. Newton Smith, and Dr. Arnold Nelson
officiated. Burial was at Union Springs Cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield, La.

  Mrs. Rascoe died Tuesday morning, April 29, 1986, at DeSoto
General Hospital in Mansfield, after a long illness.

  She is survived by two sons, Jack Rascoe, and Chad Rascoe of
Converse; one brother, O. C. Woodruff of Atlanta, Texas; two
sisters, Mrs. Dollie Allday of Atlanta, Mrs. Jessie Dawson of
Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
