Mrs. Lovie E. Ricks

  26 Mar 1970 - Mrs. Lovie E. Ricks, 49, died in Many March 20
after a short illness.

  Surviving relatives include her husband W. A. Ricks of Florien,
two daughters Mrs. Nancy Marcantel of Iowa and Miss Martha Ricks
of Shreveport; a son, Wayne Ricks of Houston, Texas, and Mrs.
Nell Rodgers of Shreveport and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church March 21
with the Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel
Cemetery under direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
Pallbearers were Buford Cole, James Ricks, James O. Ricks, Jr.,
Olin Cole, Billy Ricks and Jimmy Campbell.
