Ross, 99, were held Sunday, December 17, at 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Many. Interment was at the Beulah Cemetery. Rev. Joe Ratcliff officiated, and was assisted by Rev. Kenneth Leach, and Rev. Mack Brister. Mrs. Ross passed away December 15, at Heritage Manor in Many. She was born February 13, 1890, and lived in Sabine Parish all her life. She is survived by three sons, Edward, and Allen Ross of Many, and Cecil Ross of Minden; seven daughters, Charlsie Wright of Baton Rouge, Bernice Freeman of Mansfield, Dean Hembree, Gladys Boice, Katherine Derrick, Alma Edwards, and Mable Ross, all of Many; twenty two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Audry A. Camp of Shreveport; and a friend and companion, Mrs. Helen Robinson of Many. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Ross; a son, William; and a daughter, Evelyn. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Oscar, Gregory, Michael, Larry, and Randall Ross. Danny Derrick, Mark Wright, Jim, and Jack Hembree, and Thomas Edwards.
