Miss Alicia Lorae Ruiz

  Funeral services for Alicia Lorae Ruiz, 9, of Converse, were
held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 1997, at Rose-Neath Funeral
Home Chapel.

  The Rev. William A. Campbell, pastor of Midway Baptist Church,
officiated.

  Alicia died Wednesday, March 19, in DeSoto Parish. Burial was in
the Noble Cemetery.

  She is survived by her father, Ruben Ruiz of Converse;
grandparents, Raleigh and Bobbie Leatherwood of Converse, and
Vicki Carcsos of Kermit, Texas.

  Pallbearers were Pete Hern, James Leone, Donny Leatherwood, Bob
Foster, Kim Limming, and Jeff Jagneaux.
