Mrs. Carla Denise Ruiz

  Funeral services for Mrs. Carla Denise Ruiz, 31, of Converse,
were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 1997, at Rose-Neath
Funeral Home Chapel.

  Rev. William A. Campbell, pastor of Midway Baptist Church
officiated. Burial was in the Noble Cemetery.

  Mrs. Ruiz, a nurse employed by Pelican Home Health, died
Wednesday, March 19.

  She is survived by her husband, Ruben Ruiz of Converse; parents,
Raleigh and Bobbie Leatherwood of Converse; grandmothers, Ruby
Smith of Corsicana, Texas, and Sylvia Johnson of Converse; one
brother, Marc Leatherwood, Rice, Texas; niece Ciera Leatherwood
of Rice, Texas.

  Pallbearers were Pete Hern, James Leone, Donny Leatherwood, Bob
Foster, Kim Limming, and Jeff Jagneaux.
