All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Mae Rascoe Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Rascoe, 89, of Mansfield, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 1997, at Union Springs Baptist Church. The Revs. David Land, Don Harris, and Patrick Cavannaugh officiated. Burial was in the Union Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield. Mrs. Rascoe died Thursday, March 6, 1997, at DeSoto Regional Health system. She was born in McComb, Miss., and resided in Mansfield as a homemaker. Mrs. Rascoe is survived by her sons, Wallace Truitt, and Troy Rascoe of Shreveport, Buford Thomas, and Douglas Rascoe of Converse; five daughters, Nelwyn Davis of Ruston, Clara Hatcher of Mansfield, Betty Ruth Andrews of Grand Cane, Delores McAllister of Willis, Texas, and Jan Ryals of Bryan, Texas; two sisters, Ruby Lum of Logansport, and Mary McDonald of Mansfield; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, W. L. "Son" Rascoe; and sons, Carroll, and Lamar Rascoe. Pallbearers will be nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of donors choice.
