Charles Grady Ricks

  Funeral services for Charles Grady Ricks of Florien were held
Thursday, at 2 p.m., April 9, in Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel,
with the Rev. Avon Cavanaugh, and the Rev. Johnny Rhodes
officiating. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Mr. Ricks, 64, died in Baton Rouge, following an extended
illness, on April 7, at 8:15 p.m.

  Surviving relatives include two sons, Jimmy Ricks of Evedale,
Tex., and Sammy Ricks of Houston, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs.
Charlotte Fillingim of Denham Springs; four brothers, J. W. Ricks
of Nederland, Tex., M. R. Ricks of Port Arthur, Tex., J. C. Ricks
of Maplewood, C. A. Ricks of Boyce; two sisters, Mrs. Rena E.
Thomas, and Mrs. Sylvia R. Addison, both of Florien; and four
grandchildren.
