Mary Ross

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 1, for Mary E. Ross,
70, who died Saturday, Nov. 28, in Shreveport, after a short
illness.

  The Rev. Moss, and the Rev. Billy White officiated at the
services, which were held in the Pisgah Baptist Church. Interment
was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were James Stringer, Albert Stowell, W. F. Thomas,
Lee Hayes, Overton Stringer, and Homer McNeely.

  Survivors include one son, Edward Ross of Canyonville, Ore.; one
daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Stevenson of Corning, Calif.; two
brothers, W. M. Stringer of Toro, and Bun Stringer of Fisher; one
sister, Mrs. Bell Stowell of Jasper, Texas; and eight
grandchildren.
