Mrs. Mary Ann Rike

  Mrs. Mary Ann Rike of Converse, died Monday, Sept. 18, at the
Allen Sanitarium in Converse.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Rike were held Wednesday at 10 a.m.,
at the Converse Baptist Church, with burial following in the
Mitchell Cemetery.

  Rev. W. F. Hall, Rev. J. C. McClendon, and Rev. B. Frank Walker
officiated.

  Aunt Mollie, as she was known to most of her friends, will be
missed in this community.

  She is survived by four sons, E. A. Rike, and D. R. Rike of
Sulphur, D. A. Rike of Noble, and C. N. Rike of Shreveport; three
daughters, Opal Rike of Converse, Mrs. Ora Lee Burkhalter,
Zwolle, and Mrs. Elsie Mae Sebren of Mansfield; three sisters,
Mrs. Minnie Sistrunk, and Mrs. Nettie Boyd of Converse, and Mrs.
Susie Fountaine, Beaumont; one brother, Henry Raimond of
Converse; and nine grandchildren.
