The Rev. Major Lewis, and the Rev. Stuart Toms officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mr. Rasberry died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1983, in Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston, after a lengthy illness. He was formerly the principal of Chatham High School, and currently a supervisor with the Jackson Parish School System. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Johnson Rasberry; one daughter, Denise; two sons, David, and William Rasberry, and his father, Kermit Rasberry, all of Quitman; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Hayes of Del Rio, Texas, Mrs. Barbara Kennedy of West Monroe, Mrs. Bonnie Settle of Marthaville, and Mrs. Carolyn Kennedy of Houston, Tex.
