The Sabine Index - Mary Frances Rossiter

  11 May 1934 - After a lingering illness of more than two years
Mrs. Mary Frances Rossiter expired Sunday afternoon at 12:40 at
the family residence in the New Home community.

  Funeral services Monday afternoon were conducted by the Rev.
J. B. Williams of Many, followed by interment in Ft. Jesup
cemetery, the last rites being in the Ft. Jesup Baptist church.

  All the immediate family except one daughter were at the
bedside of Mrs. Rossiter when she passed away.  She is survived
by her husband, W. J. Rossiter, one son, three daughters, two
grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.

  The funeral rites consisted of a sermon by her former pastor,
Rev. J. B. Williams, and the singing of her favorite songs by a
quartette.  A large assemblage of friends awaited the funeral
cortege at the church and the many beautiful floral offering
attested the esteem in which deceased was held.
