The Sabine Index - Wiley R. Russell 
  
  17 Dec 1948 - Wiley R. Russell, 81, was laid to rest at Fort 
Jesup cemetery last Friday. Final rites were conducted from Fort 
Jesup Baptist church at 3 p.m. by Elders Millett and Crain, Revs. 
Worthy, Jack Webb and Tibbits. Interment was under direction 
Massingill funeral home. 
  
  Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. W. R. Russell, 
Robeline Rt. 1, sons, Edward of Fort Jesup, Joe and J. O. of 
Robeline, Rt. 1; daughters, Mrs. Mandy Oxley, Fort Jesup, Mrs. 
Emma Howard and Mrs. Allie Howard, both of Many, Mrs. Beadie 
Snyder, Robeline; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 
three great-great grandchildren.
