All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Mrs. Frank Russell 11 Mar 1955 - Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Russell, 75, who passed away at her home in Noble at 3 a.m. Sunday, March 6, were conducted at Noble Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, with Rev. Frank Chance officiating. Interment was in Noble Cemetery under the direction of Drewitt Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mrs. Russell was born in Union parish May 4, 1879, the daughter of William Henry Hamilton and Barbara Pearson Hamilton. She and her husband, Robert Franklin Russell, moved to Sabine Parish in 1900. Surviving Mrs. Russell are: daughters, Mrs. Ross Phares, a teacher at Centenary College, Shreveport, and Mrs. L. J. Anderson, Noble; sons, Leonard M. and Lennis H. Russell, both of Herlong, Calif., sister, Mrs. Floyd Burns of Bernice; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were nephews of Mrs. Russell.
