Lucy Russell

  Mrs. Lucy Russell, 76, of Many, died in the Fraser Hospital
North, on April 19, at 1:10 a.m., after an extended illness.

  She is survived by three sons, Charles C. Russell of San
Antonio, Tex., Sidney O. Russell of Bogalusa, and the Rev. Billy
Russell of Many; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Eicher, Mrs. Shelly
Rutherford, both of Many, and Mrs. Kirby Hayes of Florien; one
sister, Mrs. Gladys McComic; four brothers, Randal Phelps of
Silsby, Tex., E. S. Phelps, Pleasant Hill, J. C. Phelps, Fisher,
and John Phelps of Vivian, La.; 22 grandchildren, and 21 great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, April 19, at 2 p.m., in the
Fisher First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Johnny Rhodes, and the
Rev. Delman Rogers officiating. Interment was in the Fisher
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
