N. L. "Pete" Russell

  N. L. "Pete" Russell, 71. of Mansfield, died Wednesday, March
14, at 4:30 a.m., in Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas, after
an extended illness.

  The funeral was held Friday, March 26, at 10 a.m., in the Fisher
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial
followed in the Fisher Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were Mark Russell, Gordon Russell, James Hayes,
Claude Remedies, Darrell Sextes, and the Rev. Billy Russell.

  Survivors include two sons, Don Russell of Clute, Texas, and
Neil Russell Jr. of Single Mountain, Tennessee; two brothers,
Ralph Russell of Fisher, and H. L. Russell of Port Arthur; and
four grandchildren.
