Mrs. Janis S. Rachal

  Funeral services for Mrs. Janis Smith Rachal of Mt. Carmel were
held at the Fisher Baptist Church at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 14.
The Rev. Percy Tibbitts officiated. Burial followed in the
Florien Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Douglas Page, Kenneth Lee, Billy Hardee, Earl
Westfall, Ray McComic, and Johnny Rachal.

  Mrs. Rachal died as a result of a one vehicle accident on
Monday, Nov. 10, at 12:45 p.m. She was 42.

  Survivors include her husband, Clyde Rachal of Mt. Carmel; one
son, Tibby Joe Rachal of Mt. Carmel; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Smith of Fisher; two sisters, Carolyn Stewart of Fisher, and
Aline Lafitte of Haughton; and one brother, Jackie Smith of
Houston, Tex.
