Raymond Kenneth Russell

  Funeral services for Raymond Kenneth Russell of Amite, were held
in the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, on
Monday, July 6, at 3:30 p.m. Houston Tibbitts, Mack Hayes, and
Glen Hardy officiated.

  Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of
the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Victor Anders,
Earl Anders, Louis Stewart, Jimmy Jessup, Jimmy Ray Anders, Dick
Spears, Emmett Hardy, and Hubert Belisle.

  Mr. Russell died in Baton Rouge on Saturday, July 4, at 2:30
a.m., following a sudden illness. He was 52.

  Survivors include two brothers, Ralph Russell of Many, and
Travis Russell of New Orleans; and one sister, Mrs. Susie Anders
of Many.
