Rachal Funeral services for Sidney Dennis Rachal, were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Mar. 25, in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home, with Monsignor Harry O. Barcher? Officiating. Burial was in the Weaver Cemetery, Flora, with full military graveside services conducted by Fort Polk personnel. Rachal, 64, of Natchitoches, died Saturday morning, Mar. 23, in his residence. He was a retired senior chief petty officer in the Navy, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Cypress Tree Post 3743?. Cypress, and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Lurline L. Rachal of Natchitoches; three daughters, Sydney Namby? Of Natchitoches, and Dianne Allen, and Bonnie Walston, both of Bossier City; four sisters, Rita Remedies, Many, Lucille Barksdale, and Leola McClendon, both of Fort Worth, Texas, Ruthie Lee Branstetter of Bell Gardens, California; and four brothers, Paul Ervin Rachal of Beaumont, Texas, Joseph Herman Rachal of Vidor, Texas, Preston N. Rachal of Orange, Texas, and John B. Rachal of Fort Worth, Texas; and five grandchildren.
