Eddie Blumer Russell

  Funeral services for Mr. Eddie Blumer Russell, were held at the
Union Baptist Church in Belmont, on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 2 p.m.
Rev. Guy Burr, and Rev. J. P. King officiated the ceremony.
Burial was in the Bayou Scie Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Russell, 87, of Belmont, died in Pleasant Hill on Aug. 23,
1985, at 2:29 p.m.

  Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ural Maxey of Belmont; two
brothers, Mr. Harold Russell of Sugarland, Tex., and Mr. W. H.
Russell of Zwolle; two sisters, Mrs. Marvin Carter of Belmont,
and Mrs. John Strong of Shreveport; four granddaughters, Mrs.
Randall (Gloria) Rains of Zwolle, Mrs. Delbert (Nelda) Rains of
Mansfield, Miss Billie Carol Maxey of Belmont, and Mrs. Ike
(Diane) Rivers of Stonewall; and six great grandchildren, Russell
and Shane Rains, Millie and Erin Rains, and Shane and Kevin
Rivers.
