Rachal - February 18, 1988 Mrs. Edwina B. Rachal, 66, of Fort Worth, Texas, a former resident of Many, died Friday, February 5, 1988 at a Fort Worth Hospital. Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Shannon's North Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Catholic Church by Father Zurick and assisted by Deacon Paul E. Rachal of Beaumont, Texas. Burial was in the Mount Olive Cemetery in Forth Worth. Mrs. Rachal was born in Campti, La. and moved to Fort Worth in 1958. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Melrose, La. Survivors include her husband, John B. Rachal of Fort Worth; one daughter, Sandra Haney of Carrollton; two brothers, Lester Barberousse of Campti and Eugene Barberousse of Clarence, La.; three sisters, Marguerite McCluney of Forth Worth, Gertrude Treese of Rochester, New York and Faye Hope Friday of Lake Charles, La. and two granddaughters. Pallbearers were Gene McClendon, Johnny Lee McClendon, Rich Barksdale of Fort Worth; Gene Barksdale of Arlington and Joseph H. Rachal of Vidor, Texas.
