Mrs. Nancy Katherine Lockwood Russell

  Mrs. Nancy Katherine Lockwood Russell, 46, died on Saturday,
April 8, 1989, at Southpark Hospital, after a short illness.

  Services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 12, at
Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, with Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor of
Emmanuel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was at Centuries
Memorial Park.

  Mrs. Russell, a homemaker, was a resident of Shreveport since
1960. She was born in Natchitoches, La., and was a member of
Emmanuel Baptist Church.

  Survivors include her husband, Gordon R. Russell of Shreveport;
one daughter, Susanne Roberts and husband, Gregg of Tyler, Tex.;
four sisters, Betty Gautney, Mary Singletary, Bonita Coker, and
Jan Coker; four brothers, Ben Lockwood, Charles Lockwood, Bobby
Lockwood, and Mike Lockwood; numerous nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers included Sonny Martin, Marshall Kelley, Norris
Dickard, Kenneth Anthony, Mike Clingan, and Bob Hall.
