Mrs. Maurine Russell (Photo)

  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Maurine Russell, 78, at
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with burial in the
Ft. Jesup Cemetery, on Feb. 12, 1994. Officiating the service was
Bishop Stan Hayes, and John Russell. Pallbearers were Ralph
Russell, Jerry Don Forbis, Jimmy Jessup, Billy Ray Russell Jr.,
Billy Jessup, and Wallace Potter.

  Mrs. Russell passed away at her home on Feb. 10, 1994. She is
survived by her husband, J. O. "Peacock" Russell of Many; one
son, Billy Ray Russell Sr. of Shreveport, La.; one brother, J. C.
Forbis of Many, La.; 6 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and
a host of nieces and nephews.
