Raymond Russell, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Russell of Zwolle, was killed in action in Germany, Nov. 23. The War Department has advised his parents. Sergeant Russell arrived in England Oct. 23, and participated in battles in France and Holland, before entering Germany. He is survived by his parents; five brothers, Bloomer Russell of Zwolle, Hoyt Russell, stationed in the South Pacific area, Wilbert Russell of Natchitoches, Herald, and Tilman Russell, both of Homer; three sisters, Miss Beulah Russell, and Mrs. John Strange(1), both of Zwolle, and Mrs. Marvin Carter of Belmont. -------------------------- (1) Should be Strong (2) Buried Plot E, Row 10, Grave 12, American Cemetery, Misstrichet, Netherlands.
