Mrs. Joe G. Russell

  Funeral services were held Friday, March 26, for Mrs. Joe G.
Russell, 61, who passed away after a short illness, in Sabine
Clinic, on Wednesday, March 24. Bro. Gilbert Conner officiated,
and was assisted by Bishop Fred Wagley at the services, which
were held in the Many Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
Church. Interment was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were Victor Anders, Willard Anders, Earl Anders,
Jerry Russell, Jerry Don Forbis, and Bobby Forbis.

  Surviving are her husband, Joe G. Russell of Robeline; four
sons, Travis Russell of New Orleans, Joe Russell Jr. of
Pineville, Raymond Russell of Shreveport, and Ralph Russell of
Ft. Jesup; one daughter, Mrs. Susie Anders of Robeline; four
brothers, Robert Forbis of Many, T. N. Forbis of Hornbeck, J. C.
Forbis of Houston, Tex., and Fred Forbis of Memphis, Tenn.; five
sisters, Mrs. W. F. Tetts of Bay City, Tex., Mrs. A. R. Self, and
Mrs. Ollie Bush of Many, Mrs. J. O. Russell of Robeline, and Mrs.
J. E. Webb of Houston, Tex.; ten grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren.
