Kenneth Ray Rushing Sr.

  Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Rushing Sr., 68, of Belmont,
were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Warren Meadows
Funeral Home. Biship Robert S. Ault officiated. Interment
followed at Bayou Scie Cemetery.

  Mr. Rushing was born May 6, 1931, in Delhi. He was a veteran of
the Korean war, and was employed as an electrician.

  Survivors include his wife, Leona Rushing of Belmont; two
daughters, Mari Collis, and husband Brad of Castle Rock, Col.,
and Patricia Jones, and husband Jody of Florien; two sons, Donald
Rushing, and wife Karen of Bristol, Va., and Kenneth Rushing Jr.,
and wife Debbie of Many.

  Also, two sisters, Zelpha Smith, and Joy Walker, both of Monroe;
three brothers, Houston Rushing of Great Falls, Mont., Thomas
Rushing of Okla. City, Okla., and Ronald Rushing of Jackson,
Miss.; 10 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
