Rev. McNair Smith, pastor of the Fairfield Avenue Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel. She died Friday, July 11, at Nurse Care Center, after a long illness. Mrs. Rushing was retired from Citgo Oil Co., and the wife of the late Clayton T. Rushing. She was a native of Grand Cane, had lived 12 years in Shreveport, but was a resident of Keatchie most of her life. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Tom Taylor, Port Arthur, Texas; a nephew, Jimmy Isgate, Zwolle; a number of nieces and nephews from out of state.
