Mrs. Eliza Lovelady MeLancon Rogers

  Mrs. Eliza Lovelady MeLancon Rogers, 75, died Saturday, Sept. 11 in
Natchotiches.

  Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at Beulah Baptist
Church with interment at Beulah Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Leach
officiated.

  Survivors include son, Richard Melancon and wife Tami of Tuscaloosa,
Ala.; brother, J.V. Lovelady and wife Bea of Gilmer, Texas; nine
sisters Bernice Rogers, Bertha Oliver, Estelle Brown, Virgie Evans,
Hazel Crouch all of Many, Jewel Hippler and husband J.C. of Longview,
Texas, Rosemary King and husband Tommy, Jean Crouch and husband Ivan
all of Many.

  She was preceded in death by husbands, Lynn Melancon and Junior
Rogers; one son, Curtis Melancon; and one sister, Inez Knopp.

  Pallbearers were Jerome Rogers, Bob Brown, Ricky Knopp, John Oliver,
George Evans, Timmy King and Daryl Crouch.
