Marvin E. Rogers

  Marvin E. Rogers, 43, of Leesville, died Sunday, Nov. 19, at
12:15 p.m., at Alexandria, after a lengthy illness. Funeral
services were held Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m., at Prewitts
Chapel in Hornbeck, with the Rev. Homer Fondren, and the Rev.
Kenneth Leach officiating. Burial was in the Prewitts Chapel
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dovie Rogers of Leesville;
two sons, Bobby Rogers of Hornbeck, and Jack Rogers of
Houston; one daughter, Pat Rogers of Houston; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Stafford Rogers of Many; five brothers, Stafford
Rogers, Jr., Bobby Ray Rogers, Douglas Rogers, and Billy
Wayne Rogers of Many, and Bernice Rogers of Harvey; two
sisters, Mrs. Syble Pentalon, of Fisher, and Mrs. Sue Lynn
Fife of Many.
