Stafford Rogers

  Stafford Rogers, 70, of many, died in Many on Tuesday, September
2, at 8:30 a.m., following a short illness.

  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lovie Rogers of Many; five
sons, Stafford Rogers Jr., Bobby Ray Rogers, Bernes Lee Rogers,
and Otha Douglas Rogers, all of Many, and Billy Wayne Rogers of
Florien; two daughters, Mrs. Syble Pantalion of Fisher, and Mrs.
Sue Lynn Fife of Many; four brothers, Wiley Rogers of Florien,
Robert Rogers, and Carson Rogers, both of Many, and Herman Rogers
of New Orleans; three sisters, Mrs. Maudie Warden of New Orleans,
Mrs. Bertie Powell of Slagle, and Mrs. Mavis Byrd of California;
27 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Beulah Baptist Church on
Thursday, September 4, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Leach, and the
Rev. Hoy Leach officiated.

  Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Funeral Home.
