Louis Richard Sr.

  Louis Richard Sr. 55, of Many, died in a local hospital,
September 4, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 9, at the St.
Peter Baptist Church in Fisher, with burial in Mansfield.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Richard of Many;
his father, Willie Richard Sr. of Mansfield; six boys, Louis
Richard Jr. of Detroit, Mack Richard, Mansfield, Willie
Richard, Winnfield, Charlie Richard, San Diago, Tommie
Richard, and Milton Richard, both of Many; five girls, Mrs.
Rosa Corle, Atlanta, Mrs. Jessie Mae White, and Bobby
Richard, both of Fisher, Ruby Lee Richard, Winnfield, and
Shirley Richard of Many; one step-daughter, Mrs. Margie N.
Smiley of Houston; four brothers, the Rev. Sidney Richard,
John Hery Richard, and Jessie Richard, all of Winnfield,
and Steve Richard of Mansfield; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth
Pugh, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Jane Roe Parker, Mrs. Nancy
Evans, and Willie Dell Richard, all of Mansfield; 19
grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, and a host of
relatives and friends.
