Mrs. Malva F. Richards

  Mrs. Malva F. Richards, 84, died at Sabine Medical Center in
Many, on January 29, 1989, at 12 p.m.

  Services were held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, on Jan. 31, at
2 p.m., with Rev. Frank Burton, and Rev. Mack Brister
officiating. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include one daughter, Frances Hogan of Columbia, S.
C.; three brothers, Tom Canady, Oscar Canady, both of Florien,
and Oather Canady of Sulphur, La.; six sisters, Ruby Ferguson of
Nederland, Tex., Gladys Hebert of Jasper, Tex., Mayro Caldwell,
Jarue Hester of Groves, Tex., Ida Mae Reynolds, and Vadis Fawkes,
both of Florien; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and
six great grandchildren.
