Richardson Funeral services for Mrs. Clarice B. Richardson, 86, were held Monday, Aug. 21, 1989, at 10 a.m., at the Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel. Interment followed in the Highland Cemetery in Mansfield. Dr. George A. Ritchey, retired pastor of First Baptist Church in Mansfield, officiated. Mrs. Richardson passed away, August 19, 1989, in the Highland HCA Hospital in Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gordon Richardson. Survivors include two sons, Donald Glen Richardson of Converse, Charles Walter Richardson of Sugarland, Texas; one sister, Ruby Wingate of Baton Rouge; 10 grandchildren, Ronny, Danny, Billy, Craig, Mark, and James Richardson, Glenda Faye Higgins, Pamela Sue Beardon, Angela Marie Peeler, and Marcia Kaye Smith; and twenty great grandchildren. Mrs. Richardson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mansfield, where she was active in the WMU. She was an active member of the DeSoto Parish Home Demonstration Club, and the DeSoto Parish Historical Society. Services were under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.
