Officiating was Dr. George A. Ritchey, former pastor of First Baptist Church of Mansfield. Interment was in the Highland Cemetery in Mansfield. Arrangements were under the direction of Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel. Mrs. Clarice Brown Richardson died Saturday, August 19, at Highland Hospital in Shreveport, following a brief illness. Mrs. Richardson was a native of Marthaville, and a resident of Mansfield. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield, where she was a member of the DeSoto Parish Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gordon Richardson. She is survived by two sons, Donald Glen Richardson of Converse, and Charles Walter Richardson of Sugarland, Texas; one sister, Ruby Wingate of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren, Ronny Richardson, Danny Richardson, Billy Richardson, Craig Richardson, Mark Richardson, James Richardson, Marcia Kaye Smith, Glenda Faye Higgins, Pamela Sue Reardon, Angela Marie Peeler; and 20 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ronny Richardson, Danny Richardson, Billy Richardson, Mark Richardson, James Richardson, Billy Reardon, Gary Smith, Gene Higgins.
