Walter E. Red

  Walter Elijah Red, 67, of Red's Point, Toledo Bend, died at
12:30 p.m., Friday, in Fraser Hospital in Many.

  Survivors include his widow; a son, J. B. Red of Shawnee, Okla.;
three brothers, Alson Red, and Irby Red, both of Tyler, Tex., and
Odell Red of Quite Cove, Toledo Bend; and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, in the Vernon
Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with the Rev. Edward Smith
officiating. Burial was in the Leesville Cemetery.
