Adrian F. Reed, M.D.

  Services were held for Dr. Adrian F. Reed, M.D., 74, of
Shreveport, at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14, at the Broadmoor United
Methodist Church. Dr. Edward Thomas, pastor of the church,
officiated. He was assisted by Father Murray Clayton, pastor of
St. Joseph Catholic Church.

  Dr. Reed, Emeritus Professor at LSU-S Medical School, died
Friday, Dec. 11, in Many, La., following a sudden illness. He was
born in Terre Haute, Indiana, and had been a resident at
Shreveport 13 years. He was a member of Broadmoor United
Methodist Church, the Shreveport Medical Society, the American
Medical Association, the La. State Medical Society, the American
Association of Anatomist, and the Southern Association of
Anatomists.

  Dr. Reed is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary R. Reed of
Shreveport.

  Pallbearers were Mr. Ted Warren, Mr. Jim Waddell, Mr. Neal
Aguillard, Mr. David Hargrader, Mr. Frank J. Stich III, and Mr.
Ellis R. Stich. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Whitney Boggs Jr.,
Dr. David M. Carlton, Dr. Warren Founds, Mr. Robert R. Gravesm,
Dr. Robert S. Kendricks, Dr. Homer D. Kirgis, Dr. William
McElroy, Dr. Donald F. Overdyke, Dr. Herbert D. Tucker, Dr.
Robert E. VanHook, and Dr. Clarence H. Wedd.

  Memorials may be made to the LSU-S Medical School Scholarship
Fund.
