Mrs. Catherine Troquille Holt Read

  Mrs. Catherine Troquille Holt Read, 57, was born May 5, 1944, in
Natchitoches, formerly of Many, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, in
Houston, Texas.

  Mrs. Read was a member of the Thomas Avenue Baptist Church in
Pasadena. She was an avid outdoors person, who loved hunting and
fishing, and was part owner of Horseshoe Construction.

  Survivors include her husband, Bill Read; sons, James R. Holt,
John R. Holt, Jesse R. Holt; stepsons, Blane Read, Bruce Read,
and Berry Read; brother, Kevin Troquille; eight grandchildren;
and one great grandchild.

  A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 24,
at the Thomas Avenue Baptist Church, 2401 E. Thomas, Pasadena,
Texas, with the Rev. Mike McMahon officiating. Burial followed at
the Holt Cemetery in Louisiana.
