Dorothy K. Snead Redfern

  Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy K. Snead Redfern, 76, were
held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 28, 1997, at Rose-Neath's
Coushatta Chapel.

  Rev. Lester Burleson officiated. Burial was in Martin Cemetery
in Martin.

  Mrs. Redfern died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at Willis-Knighton
Medical Center. She was born in Coushatta, and was a resident of
Mansfield. Mrs. Redfern was a retired nurse.

  She was preceded in death by her first husband, William T.
Snead; second husband, Wendy Redfern; and brother, Charlie
Kellogg.

  Survivors include one daughter, Betty Snead Crager (husband
Wendell) of Keithville; three sisters, Nina Ruth Burson of
Coushatta, Hazel Green of Zwolle, and Greg Castle of Okla. City,
Okla.; two brothers, Huey Kellogg of Coushatta, and Shelton
Kellogg of Shreveport; six grandchildren; and seven great
grandchildren.

  The family wishes to thank all the staff at Heritage Manor of
Mansfield, for the personal and professional care of Mrs.
Redfern.
