Riddick 17 Apr 1936 - Funeral services for A. L. Riddick, former deputy sheriff, were held last Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Noble Baptist church. Rev. L. K. Hartsfield officiated, interment being in the Noble cemetery. Mr. Riddick had been ill only a short time, expired at Converse last Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The American Legion served as pallbearers, of which deceased was a member. The widow, Mrs. A. L. Riddick, and five children survive. Mr. Riddick had been connected with law enforcement for several years in Sabine parish, serving as deputy sheriff.
