Ridgeway William Andrew Ridgeway, 82, died at 5:15 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, at his home in Hornbeck. He was a retired logger. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Estelle Byrd Ridgeway of Hornbeck; two sons, William H. Ridgeway of Port Arthur, Tex., and Bobby D. Ridgeway of Hammond; four daughters, Mrs. Esteree Bisher of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. Ruth Byrd of Pineland, Tex., Mrs. Betty Letbetter of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Ann Henker of Nederland, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Dewey Ridgeway of Monroe; 10 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, in Bible Baptist Church, Hornbeck, with Rev. E. W. Lord, Rev. Wayne Reed, and Rev. Dowden officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson's of Leesville.
