The Sabine Index - David A. Rhodes

  26 Oct 1951 - Last rites for David A. Rhodes, 77, who expired
at a Shreveport hospital 8:15 a.m. Sunday, were conducted 3 p.m.
Monday at Fort Jesup Baptist church by Rev. Earl Miers. Interment
was under direction Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were: Clifton Rhodes, Lewis Rhodes, Earl Rhodes,
Harvey Rhodes, Carrol Rhodes and Creed Lester.

  Surviving relatives include: wife, Mrs. David A.
Rhodes, Fort Jesup; sons, Arthur Rhodes, Many, Louie Rhodes, New
Orleans, Cecil Rhodes, Shreveport, Otis Rhodes, Natchitoches ,
Hollis Rhodes, Shreveport, Roy Rhodes, Houston, Texas, Ray
Rhodes, Los Angeles, calif.; daughters, Mrs. J. H. Horman, Marked
Tree, Ark., Mrs. R. B. Russell, Shreveport; 34 grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
