Ruddick, 88, of Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Bossier City, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 26, in Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Bossier City Chapel, with the Rev. H. B. Fuller, pastor of Shreve City Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was May 23, in Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Ruddick died Friday, May 23, at the nursing home, following a lengthy illness. The Liberty Hill native had lived in Bossier since 1918. He was a member of Shreve City Baptist Church. Survivors include son, Jimmy J. Ferguson of Monte Rey; daughters, Mrs. J. O. Jackson of Bossier City, and Mrs. J. D. Bridges of Alexandria; sisters, Mae Petty of Shreveport, Lealis DeWitt of Zwolle, Mrs. Kilmer Pickler of Springhill, and Mrs. Henry Cox of Montgomery; brother, Oris E. Williams of Hickory, N. C.; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ed Carter, Elmer Casey, Herb Kethley, Julius Pollard, Newton Carter, and Charles Brown.
