Rev. Johnnie A. Rhodes

  Rev. Johnnie A. Rhodes, 79, of Many, died at his residence, on
April 18, 1989.

  Services were held at Ft. Jesup Baptist Church, on Friday, April
21, at 10 a.m., with the Reverends Milton Prey, H. H. Tibbitts,
Roy Dowden, and Glen Flenniken officiating. Burial was at Ft.
Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Fannie Belle Rhodes of Many; three
daughters, Lorraine Mayfield, and Barbara Jones, both of
Leesville, Johnnie Belle Farrell of Verona, N. J.; nine
grandchildren, Tim and Tom Broderick, Cindy Hiaeshutter, Frances
White, Stephen, Michael, Robert, Sean, and Scott Farrell; three
great grandchildren; three brothers, Elmer Rhodes of Many, Roy
Rhodes of Mobile, Ala., Chester Rhodes of Haughton; two sisters,
Josie Flenniken of Alexandria, and Bertie Williams of Pensacola,
Fla.
