Mrs. Lula Rhodes

  Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Rhodes were held Wednesday,
August 10, in the Provencal First Baptist Church. Interment was
in Bellwood Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Mrs. Rhodes died Monday, August 8, in Natchitoches. She was 71
years of age, and lived in Provencal.

  She is survived by her husband, John Rhodes of Provencal; two
sons, Johnnie Ray Rhodes of Morgan City, and Cleveland Rhodes of
Provencal; one brother, James Self of Jefferson, Texas; and a
number of nieces and nephews.
