Mattie Pearl Rodgers

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Pearl Rodgers, age 44, of Many,
were held Saturday, August 29, 1992, at Lone Star Baptist Church
in Bayou Scie. Burial was in the Monk Cemetery in Bayou Scie,
under the direction of Thomas Mortuary.

  She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Ms. Bobbie A.
Rodgers, and Felissa L. Smith; her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Lee Smith
of Many; three brothers, Kenneth R. Smith, Charles R. Smith, and
Percy Willis; five sisters, Mrs. Francis L. Sumersall, Ruby
Smith, Mrs. Fannie M. Spikes; a special friend, Mr. David Garner;
and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, and
friends.
