Jack Ritter, Sr.

  John Francis Ritter, Sr., better known as Jack Ritter, founder
and owner of the Jack Ritter, Inc. Oil Co. of Austin, Tex., died
Tuesday, Sept. 4. He was 67.

  Services were held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the
Weed-Corley Funeral Home in Austin, with burial in Austin
Memorial Park.

  He is survived by his wife, Frances Hulen Ritter of Austin, two
sons, Jack Ritter, Jr. and Timothy H. Ritter; a brother, Victor
H. Ritter, and seven grandchildren, all of Austin.
