Howell Douglas Ritter

  Mr. Howell Douglas Ritter, age 73, of Techefuncta Country Club
Estates, Covington, La., died on Monday, April 8, 1985.

  Services were held in the Schoen Funeral Home at Covington, with
interment in Memorial Cemetery, Madisonville, La.

  He is survived by his wife, Iola McLane Ritter; one daughter,
Gwen Ritter of Boulder, Colorado; two sons, Howell Douglas
Ritter, Jr., also of Boulder, and James Addison Ritter of New
Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Rosalie Aaron of Natchitoches; and one
brother, James Carlyle Ritter of Nacogdoches, Texas.

  Mr. Ritter was a native of Many, La.
