James Caldwell Ritter

  21 Feb 1958 - Funeral rites for James Caldwell Ritter, age 77,
were held Thursday at 10 o'clock from the chapel of the Warren
Funeral home with Rev. V. R. Miller officiating. Interment was in
the Many cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Pallbearers were Herbert Gandy, Martin Gandy, Norman Curtis,
Jack Lucius, Cecil Wright and Maston Wright.

  Survivors include wife: Mrs. J. C. Ritter, Many; son, J. C.
Ritter, Jr., Many; and H. O. Ritter, New Orleans; daughter, Mrs.
Morris E. Aaron, Natchitoches; two brothers J. H. and E. P.
Ritter, both of Many; sister5s, Mrs. Fannie Pilgrim, Mrs. B. J.
Walker, and Mrs. Rebe Ritter, and ten grandchildren.

  Mr. Ritter died suddenly at his home in Many Tuesday night. He
was a retired merchant.
