Services were held at First Baptist Church of Many, on August 5, at 2 p.m. Interment was at Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Ratcliff of St. Francesville, and Rev. Bob Spears of First Baptist Church, officiated, and Buddy Day, First Baptist Church of Ponchatoula. Miss Lucy was an active member of First Baptist Church of Many, from 1923 thru 1993. Miss Lucy married E. P. "Ras" Ritter at the Many Methodist Parsonage. Miss Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Webb Jackson Ross and Louvera Stephens Ross, Pleasant Hill; husband, E. P. "Ras" Ritter; grandson, Edwin Eugene Teal Jr.; brothers, A. D. Ross, and Hubert J. Ross Jr.; and sister, Odie Walken. Survivors are one son, Perry Ritter and wife Billie Stringer Ritter of Ponchatoula; one daughter, Sarah Teal and husband Edwin E. Teal of Many; one granddaughter, Donna Leigh Teal Vance of Lufkin; two grandsons, Mike Ritter and wife Debbie Vining Ritter of Ponchatoula; and Greg Ritter Teal of Many; two great grandchildren, Chris, and Emily Ritter of Ponchatoula; one sister, Mae Chase and husband Vic Chase of Zwolle; two nephews, Andy Ross of Shreveport, and Donald Ross of Germantown, Tenn.; four nieces, Hazel Salisbury, Linda Ferguson, Eleanor Cotterell, Cecil Walker, all of Shreveport; one sister-in-law, Vergie Ross of Wisner. Mrs. Rebecca Cox Dziekan was guest soloist, and Mrs. Jennie Anna Ogden served as organist to honor Miss Lucy's request. Mrs. Lucy's father pastored at several Sabine Parish Baptist Churches, including Aimwell, Beulah, Fort Jesup, Spring Ridge, and Pleasant Hill.
